"June 24, 2000" A Heated Battle in The Modifieds
After making it to the top five a battle broke out from first to fifth
between all the leaders. Wade Champeno made a move around Smith
to take third while Reno was pressuring Knight. Smith
made a move back around Wade to secure third place. Champeno wound up finishing fourth.
The finishing line up went with Tom Knight took first, Marion Reno
Second, Matt Smith Third, Wade Champeno fourth, and Jason
Busch came home in fifth.
