"August 2, 1998" Wilt's Second Feature Of The Season Followed Across The Line By Wade Champeno
Champeno made it through a rough field of cars to get into the top
five where he then followed Mel Wilt up through the top five. After Wilt
made the move into first place with Wade Following behind him and securing the Second place
spot. They then both battled it out for a while but Mel was to fast for
Champeno.
Mel came home in first, Wade Champeno in second,
Doug Shaulis in third, Mike Bakalon fourth, and Chris Dayarmin
finished out the remainder of the top five in the Jennerstown Speedway Nascar Weekly Racing Series
Street Stock Division.
