"April 28, 2001" Rookie Contender Wade Scored A Very Respectible 5th Place Finish In Second Outing
Barry Awtey Claimed the Feature event win in the Late Model Division.
The evening was marred with crashes. Rookie Contender Wade Champeno Finished
a very respectible fifth in only his seconding outing in the premier race division at
Jennerstown Speedway.
Barry Awtey finished first, Neil Brown came home in second, Jayme
Bulkovac came home in third, Mark Smith came in fourth and was followed by Wade
Champeno Rounding up the Top Five in the Nascar Weekly Racing Series Late Model
Division at Jennerstown Speedway.
Wade Champeno had no easy fleet in this event with starting 21st but because of his
advancements from 21st to 5th he received the great honor of the hard charger award.
