"July 30, 2005" Champeno once again was a victom of a Late Race Pass by Boyer Yeailding the First Place
Position to come home in Second place yet again
Rick Boyer continued to set the pace in the late model class, collecting his
fifth win of the year. The Blairsville driver started last in the field, and charged through the pack to take the first spot
from Wade Champeno on the back straight of Lap 16. Champeno hung on for second over Melt Wilt, Andrew Wylie and Dusty Rhoads.
