"July 12, 2002" Champeno lands second behind Travis Geisler at Clearfield Speedway
With a Engine that would not get out of its own road at Jennerstown Speedway
Champeno tried Clearfield Speedway when Jennerstown Events was rained
out.
The engine did not have the right rpm range for doing well at Jennerstown
but boy did it hook up and go at Clearfield. Wade Champeno and Travis Geisler
literally ran away from the entire field almost lapping the third place car and
they did lap the majority of the field at Clearfield that night.
Travis Geisler won with Wade right on his bumper right to the very finish
nearly pushing Travis's machine to finish in the Late Model Division.
