"Sept. 2000" Champeno Secures 2nd Place in Points and was awarded Most Popular Driver voted by fans
After attending a chassis set up class in Mooresville, N.C. over the winter of 1999
Wade Champeno had a new outlook on this tough Modified Division in 2000. Champeno
secured the 2nd Place Points finish which was a great improvement compared to 1999's 7th
place finish. Wade also was voted most popular driver by the
fans at Jennerstown Speedway and he also got the Most Improved Driver which was decided
by the racing officials at Jennerstown Speedway.
Wade finished 2nd in points behind leader Thomas Knight Jr.
